"It's a Bird....It's a Plane...No, it's Zechariah's 2nd Birthday Party!

     We had a great time celebrating Zechariah's 2nd birthday with friends and family! The Lord blessed us with a beautiful day to enjoy outside...it was perfect for the theme of the party too!
     I chose an airplane theme as Zechariah has a love for airplanes and the fun noises they make.



Our invite to the party....

    We got things started when a few of our guests arrived by praying for our food and thanking the Lord for our Zechariah. For our "in-flight" meal I made a buffet line of sub choices to  make....BLT's...ham..turkey and swiss cheese...our side dishes included pickles, homemade potato salad and a suitcase full of assorted chip bags. I placed a steel beverage tub full of ice and mini sodas outside labeled "Jet fuel" for everyone to grab as they wanted something cold.  

  Zechariah and his flight crew enjoyed playing outside....kicking balls around, making and decorating foam airplanes, they found a cool moth in the hedges and then got to open his presents!

     A BIG thank you to my husband and sisters for everything they did to make this day special for Zechariah.....it is amazing to think that God chose me to be Zech's mommy.....I am humbled and thankful he's ours. In a way, I think birthday's are super special for mommy's.....all day I kept thinking about the day he was born....beautiful memories!
